I love posts like this and you did a marvelous job with it, Rose! Some of those had me laughing.
Thank you, it is a fun post to do.
I didn’t read as much as usual last year so had less titles to work with, but it all worked out 🙂
Great selections! Haha, I always love seeing what people choose for Family Reunions – yours is perfect! 😂
I do enjoy answering these questions 🙂
HA! Lots of books here that I read many, many years ago like Something in Disguise, The French Lieutenant’s Woman, A Room with a View, and Mansfield Park!
They were all new to me, except for Mansfield Park which I enjoyed far more this time around. I watched A Room With a View last week for the first time too, really enjoyed it.
This is lovely Rose, I always wanted to be Lucy Honeychurch! Happy New Year!
I’ve just watched the film, and I think Lucy Honeychurch went on to have an extremely happy life 🙂
Don’t read the sequel
I didn’t know there was a sequel! You really are educating me today, between Moomins and Views without Rooms… I just watched the film of A Room With a View, and love, love, loved it!!!! Since I don’t want my joy in the story to be spoiled I will take your advice.
very sensible on this occasion!
🙂
